First off, in their defense: 1) Simmons did NOT let Virus finish. He didn't know if Vi was gonna add to it or not. 2) Maybe Rogue WROTE the wiki entry, hmm? Didja thinka that Simmons?
After reading a few comments I realize the book is a Disc World reference, I gotta get my hands on those, but my main thought about the description was the Necrnomicon. While I haven't actually seen the movie myself I know of it and get the reference.

American humor too, but old humor. The cover of the book in question is the old "Let Your Fingers Do The Walking" icon that the phone book covers used to have back when phone books were the only way to find a number you wanted. Thus, "The Book of the Phone Numbers of the Dead".

Pratchett writes a series of novels about the Discworld, which is a disc that rests on the back of four elephants who are standing on the back of a turtle which carries it through space. They are, in the main, hilariously funny and have sold more copies than a very large number of copies indeed.
Different people will tell you different books to start with, but my suggestion is either "Men at Arms" and "Witches Abroad", depending on if you want male or female main characters.
(No, they aren't the first books in their respective series, but I think they're the best).
Go enjoy yourself.

So the tome surfaced in Nautilus Gate Morth's old hometown I wonder if there's a connection or just one of those coincidences.

Also I needed to check this fact on the cast page, kudos for redesigning it and adding more characters.

Reading Virus's bio that he is a "radical inquisitor" and Nadia's that she is a "Tyrusian purist of the highest order" makes me want a team-up between them or at least a rom com.

Too bad Lothar isn't involved. With his one metallic paw, which HAS had a chainsaw in it at one point, he could easily have been a replacement for Ash Williams.

That, and he'd probably muck up saying "Klattu...Verizon...Niktu" as well.

The Necrotelecomnicon, known by certain depraved adepts by its true name of Liber Paginarum Fulvarum, was (much like the Things in the Dungeon Dimensions) inspired by the Cthulhu mythos.
