Well…it might have been more moneygrubbing since a single bit could buy a pack of asparagus there, which is definitely worth more than a single cherry. But, we’ll leave it be.

Though I am ALSO kind of wondering what a Flomeranian Pobble Bead is. A Google search brought up Pomeranian Poodles hybrids.

Actually, in that episode he RAISED the price from 2 to 10 bits when he was being a moneygrubbing douchenozzle. Apparently, 2 bits isn’t a very inflated price for a cherry.

Does really matter if it’s rigged or not? I can’t speak for everyone, but I’d pay to see this fight even knowing it’s rigged. Lothar is obviously missing his calling as a fight promoter.

Actually, I saw the math done on another message board. A Bit actually equates to between $4.75-$5.50, depending on the situation. Since a haircut at a cost cutters or other such place would be around $10, a “shave and a haircut – two bits” sounds feasable. The reason that one character was selling a cherry for 2 Bits was he was being a moneygrubbing douchenozzle at the time and trying to rip off Fluttershy. (Think Moneybags from the Spyro series.)

Hmmm…loaves of bread are around $1.75 last I checked, so a good estimate would probably be $3.50 for the emerald if 2 emerald = 4 loaves of bread. So…you can use an emerald to pay off the Loch Ness Monster. (Bonus points if you know what I’m referencing.)

Oh I got it, I just didn’t feel like going through the math and made what I thought might be appropriate guesses.

-I’m sure the Galactic Republic has seen some stints of REALLY bad economies before
-Exchage rates for Imperial Thrones can vary from planet to planet
-Zux are a currency only found on planet Lagend (http://latchkeykingdom.com/), and the author adamantly refuses to provide a valid exchange rate from Z to $.

I do know, however, that:
-1 or 2 Emeralds will get you 3 or 4 loaves of bread in Minecraft
-2 bits will get you a cherry (Unless you’re a REALLY bad haggler)
-Just watch the Doctor Who episode “Rings of Akhatan” for the leaf, which would be worth FAR more than 5 $
