The ranger rick line was so classic, I wonder if it was improvised. I never actually read the RR magazines I just liked looking at the pictures. I remember it was a bit like a cross between highlights and national geographic. I’m assuming Rocket had a Boston accent only because I remember the voice actor saying he was from Boston during an interview for the second hangover movie.

Actually, now that i think about it those two characters were the only ones who really stole the show all the other characters weren’t as developed and I hesitate to suggest Rocket is a developed character. I was thinking chipmunks when I found out about the talking raccoon, and by extension the movie was going to be lame, but it turned out better than expected. I’d totally see a live action chipmunks movie in theaters if they were gun nuts instead of coffee nuts. I think the only reason I watched whatever portion of those movies I did is because I liked David Cross in Arrested Development.
