“So what is this thing they have about candles?”

May 11th, 2009 | by Eastwood

See, this is progress. I can update like I’m posting in a word document, instead of hewing out of raw HTML. Like a goddamn primative.

Ah, the wonders of progress. I daresay you’ll be actually hearing from me from a change. Unless you actually use the forum. In which case you’ll be hearing even more from me. Lucky, lucky you.

Forum Link

May 11th, 2009 | by Silversword

Awww crap, there goes my excuse!
:p

I kid. At least, I think I do.

Anyway, now that we’ve changed system, we don’t have a static link to The Forums on the front page. We’ll find somewhere to put one shortly, I imagine, but until then – here you go! Forum Link is restored, you may go about your business like regular people. In fact, the new forum button is even easier to spot than the old one.

As long as we don’t start using twitter, I’m cool.

Hello from our new blog system

May 11th, 2009 | by Virus

I’m rather far behind on the comic. Got off to a bad start, the drawings just weren’t coming out, and so I ended up flitting back and forth between drawing and rejigging the site. I’ve overhauled the newsposting system to make it easier for the others to use. So hopefully you’ll start hearing more from them here up front. Sadly the newsposts will no longer archive alongside the comics… Shame, I liked that it did that. Old newsposts are still intact in the archives though.

Righto, I’ll update when it’s done. That’s the nice thing about this blog, I can post progress reports more easily. And if ComicGen gets clogged again like it did last week, we’ll be able to notify you. Oh, there’s also a feed button now up the top there that you can subscribe to that will let you know when the comic finally goes up. Given the lateness around here, I should’ve got that implemented a long time ago…

#282 – This Cat Has Claws

May 2nd, 2009 | by Virus

Comic Genesis was down over the weekend, and now it’s taking forever to process queued updates… This comic is late now because of that, and I finished it ages ago, like for Friday or something! Tch! Typical!</lies>

#281 – Small Comfort

It’s still Friday for 20 minutes! More depending on your time zone.

Sorry for the lack of updates.

April 21st, 2009 | by Virus

Various things, like jetlag, going to see Ross Noble at the weekend, getting hooked on DS games, and being extremely disorganised. There will be a comic on Friday, no later. No seriously, it’s almost done. But if I put it up midweek, I wouldn’t get one done at the weekend, because I’m busy then too…

Guest Comic: Pixellated – Explosive Emotion

April 9th, 2009 | by Lothar

Guest comic by Pixellated.

Also, Thank you to everyone who donated over the last week towards Bourbon’s care, we managed to raise just over $400 towards the vets bills and happily he’s back at home and doing much better, plus none of the other dogs are infected.
If you still wish to donate towards the remainder, the link is here but thank you to everyone truly.

Guest Comic: Simon King – Long Distance Call

March 28th, 2009 | by Virus

Oh yeah, guess I should upload a comic or something. So this is by Simon King. If you enjoy this strip, maybe you’d like his webcomic, Darastrix. Or say hi to him on his forum. Okay, that’s all the pimpery you get, thanks for the comic, mate.
