#243 – A Question Of Authority
April 26th, 2008 |
Late one this weekend. But still within the ‘Weekend’ timeslot, ha. Spent most of the week writing the rest of the story, forgetting I was at work all day Saturday. Feels good to be back on a story arc. Straight in with the action too.
Oh, wow! A comments section! How come it’s not in any of the earlier pages? I’ve been wanting to comment on this since I first found it! Been too busy reading it to go to the forums as of now. This comic is amazing! I love it! It’s so hilarious! When I first found it and looked at the characters page (which is a lot different on my phone then on the computer, mind you. The entire layout is different and on most of the earlier pages there were more comments from you guys then the computer showed. I viewed the entire first 100 pages on my phone) I figured Rogue would be my favorite character for various reasons, first and foremost because he’s a cat. But I gotta admit, that role was taken up by Virus and Blasphemy. I love those two to death! Of course, I also love Jamila, she is great. You guys are great. I especially love reading Lothars rants, which most of them I agree with, yet some of the others I disagree with but he makes them so funny I can’t help but laugh! Like the ‘Jesus is a Zomibe’ comment way back when he ranted about Zombie’s being boring. It was hilarious. I was i my cousins hospital room when I read it and laughed, she asked me what was so funny and I told her I couldn’t tell her because she would find it offensive. 90% of my family is religious, so reading this when they are around is like trying to read porn around your mother. So long as I don’t mention what I am reading, they will never know.
Anyway, I so wish I had found this sooner, mostly I wish I had gotten into web comics sooner, because then I would have found this sooner! Well, technically I found this through TV tropes, still can’t remember the listing I found it under, but I do remember it had something to do with Lothar and Raye watching Hellboy in the theater.
I’m sorry, I am rambling.
Anyway, good comic, good stories, good characters, you guys rock. I especially loved this last story ark, the fact that it was long is exactly why I liked it the most. Though the spider space station one was awesome as well. I would probably be all caught up with this thing by now if it wasn’t for me reading all those rants of Lothars, they made arch page longer, but they were so much fun to read! Just as much fun as the comic itself.
By the way, is Grim Darkness still up? I ask because I would love to take a look at that as well.
Long story short, the comments bit of the page didn’t function right when I first put the site together, and now that it does it’s a long process to re-enable comments for comics stretching up to ten years old. Matter of fact, was kina surprised to find them enabled here :)
Still, glad you’re enjoying things. You’ll find the reading speed increases for you as the rants tail off, but the comics get a lot better.
Grim Darkness? No, it’s not up. Not that there was ever much to look at – choppy world building notes comprised the bulk of it. We still refer to it for development purposes every now and again, salvage the bits we deem worth salvaging, but by this point nearly everything of value to it appears in EN already, or is set to appear in good time.
Ohhhh, so THIS is where the first comment section was, right, forgot about that
