And we are back. Sorry for slacking so long. This is a silly comic.
Silv is coming out to Canada for the Expo! Meet us there in artist alley!

Love the Iron Man reference
Was a nice touch
Silly? Sure. Hilarious? That too. Glad to see the comic back.
Though…
Wouldn’t it be “I had gone through the trouble”?
Both are grammatically acceptable.
Mousetrap? Fucking REALLY, Harry??
I dunno what’s worse… that you did that reference or that I got it instantly.
Who wouldn’t get the mousetrap reference? That board game is a staple of any childhood!
The staple of disappointment… Like K’nex or an erector set. I couldn’t convince my parents to by any more than the basic set because I wasn’t playing with the one I had. But I couldn’t build anything more without dismantling the painstakingly crafted project that I needed the extra parts for.
You know what bothered me most is that no one actually wants to play mousetrap, the game, they just want to build the machine.
Everyone says that, but I’m pretty sure my brother and I must’ve played the game properly once or twice. Not often, mind you, playing with the trap usually won out. But it’s not as if the game was a long slog. Not like Monopoly which NEVER got anywhere.
LEGO!!!
Monopoly is what you play with someone when you want that someone to hate you like you hate them.
Yeah but as long as you don’t start using “rent absolution” as a trading tool
“If I give you xx and £x, you give me xx & xx and you’ll never pay rent on them”
That’s a RULE?!
OK, more likely that’s a house rule or alternate rules set… But really? That would have won me… ALL the games I’ve ever played! :P Not really, my brother probably still would have won.
HARRY IS MASTER OF JOKES! I FUCKING LOVE THAT ONE! AHAHAHA!
thanks so much, guys!
…
I had that game.
I had that game, and this page just leaves me speechless and laughing on the inside.
Kudos for the ridiculous hilarity of this page.
I didn’t have that game.
I feel so sad.
Sadly, that rat was just too clever. Time to build a better mousetrap.
OOPS, 1 D1D 1T TH3 WRONG W4Y. NOW TH3R3′S 4 B3TT3R MOUS3.
W3LP.
dunno, I think it might have been funnier if it went off and caught Eastwood
Did anyone else when playing the game, get bored after 5 mins and just play with the trap for about 10 mins before packing it up?
I thought that was how you were supposed to play it?
You mean there was a game attached to building that contraption?
It’s not like the game and the trap had anything to do with each other.
uh, um. and yeah, Alan. I’ve allways needed to ask you. Why you draw four fingers on the mobians feet? If they have FIVE fingers on a hand, why they have FOUR fingers on the feet?!
I understand that some animals at our planet have four fingers on hind legs, but… but they’re already anthropomorphic animals. That must have the human part anyway :/
I don’t see any fingers on their feet. I have no idea why you’re asking why he draws four FINGERS on his feet. I see four TOES on there, but not fingers.
woop. mistake,sorry .
I meant four toes, yeah XD
Not her first language. What’s the Russian word for “finger” and “toe”, MegaDISia? I’m guessing it’s the same.
You’re right ^^
Ah right, was not aware. My apologies.
Just use “digit”, and try not to confuse it with the math term. :p
Wait, Russian? I might sound a little disrespectful saying this, but that’s another language I have to learn “I don’t speak ” in. *grumpy*
Not sure. I think I treat the feet less human, they come out more like big chunky paws. Whereas the hands are very clearly human hands. Doing the feet as more realistic human toes up looking creepy, I think.
Hmm, in the end it became clear that you draw four toes in order to achieve common mobians similarity to animals, right?
Anyway, thank you ^ ^
Sweet to be back on regular comics.
So he went to the “Trouble” of setting that trap up to “Perfection”…and now he’s going to have to say he’s “Sorry”.
F1V3 MINUT3S 1N TH3 P3N4LTY BOX FOR 4 PUN FL4G.
Sorry…but I do not obey someone who talks in L33TSP33K. Speak normally and MAYBE I’ll consider it. MAYBE!
1T’S NOT L33TSP34K P3R-S3…1T’S FROM HOM3STUCK, 4 CH4R4CT3R T4LKS W1TH T3XT L1K3 TH1S: 4LL C4PS 4ND TH3 L3TT3RS ‘A’, ‘E’, 4ND ‘I’ 4R3 R3PL4C3D BY TH3 NUM3R4LS OF TH3 BL1ND PROPH3TS. 413.

I have GOT to see this Homestuck comic to see what all the blithering fuss is over it. I’m seeing references to it EVERYWHERE!
Haha, everyone mistakes it for 1337 speak the first time they see one of GC’s posts. ;)
Then I’ll do it. Five minutes in the Penalty Box as a PUNishment.
Get out.
This comic had me giggling like such a twit.
(Alas, I could never really get into that game, nor did I have the patience for building things, and just played with the mice)
HA! Awesome!
I used to play that game. I had NO idea what the point of it was but I always had so much fun just trapping in the mouse.
Awesome references :P
I love how cartoon characters can be both geniuses and idiots at the same time.
Oh god, this bloody game.
I remember seeing this thing on ads, reminiscing how cool it would have looked and never actually buying it.
Myself, I saw it all around in the houses of cousins and friends, but never, ever got to get it out of it’s box. Never got it myself, either.
Everyone I knew was way too much into Uno or Dutch Blitz.
Ah my childhood
….Y’know, I can’t help but ponder the frightful headway the Inquisition would make if Eastwood put that kind of energy into his job.
…SO DO3S TH3 1NQU1S1T1ON 4LSO H4PP3N TO HUNT V4MP1R3S, OR DO TH3Y 3V3N 3X1ST 1N TH1S R34LM?
What does that have to do with anything I just said?
They do exist, they do hunt them. Lux is right though: what, indeed?

Brilliant, but Lazy: Alucard is pretty much the best at what he does, but he’d rather be causing as much chaos as possible outside of his job.
Integra (after hearing the latest of his 400+ elaborate death threats to the Pope): I can’t help but ponder the frightful headway we’d make if he put that sort of energy into his job.
1 DO SUPPOS3 MY COMM3NT W4S 4 L1TTL3 B1T OF 4 R34CH THOUGH.
oh yeah, that’s right ^^;; I’m sorry. It’s been a complicated week.
But I managed to get gallowsCalibrator to speak proper english! HUGE WIN!!! XD
NOW NOW, L3T’S NOT G3T H4STY. 1 F3LT D1R3CT, UNQU1RK3D SCR1PT WOULD B3 34S13R FOR M3 TO WORK W1TH 1N POST1NG 4 QUOT3. 1T F3LT SL1GHTLY TRU3R TO TH3 D14LOGU3.
I thought the saying was “Build a BETTER mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door”…huh, Harry missed a bit on that one
I don’t remeber there being any warpstone in mousetrap.
Then you weren’t playing it right.
My favourite part is the nuclear fuel rods.
LAWL!
Well it is true – product restrictions for children were a lot more lax back in the day.
Mouse trap lol genius!
Where’s the tub and diver?
Just a bit above the cage and to the right is what looks like a tub. Then up-right of that is what looks like a diving board with a bowling ball on it. Is that the tub and diver you speak of?
Nah, there’s a round washtub and a diver-figure which lands in it. Guess it got cut for space/complexity.
This is definitely the best comic from you guys in *years.* I’m not saying your other recent comics have been bad, they’ve been quite good, but this is just amazing. Excellent work.
It strikes me as odd that Harry would take out a huge section of the building to do this. It shouldn’t but it does. Also, thank you Virus for not being in the “too dumb to live” catagory.
Well, the thing’s actually called mousetrap, not rattrap, so…
