Okay, this might just be me, because who the heck watched the show, but am I getting some serious Naga from Monster Rancher vibes from the demon guy?
Other than that, great comic. Love the little detail of Virus pulling his coat over his head.
It’s been so long, I can barely remember Monster Rancher.

Nice! I love it when villains monologue! It makes them an easier target.
I also like the reality bending touch of the sword extending from panel 1 to panel 2. Daemon’s aren’t limited by mere comic panels! They’re just limited by beheading and punches. And possibly their own hubris.

Yeah right.Cause Heros would never monologue.Saying how they will bring down justice on the villain or saying how there love and friendship will always win or how righteous they are or powerful because of they gods of justice and heaven….No sir heros would never do such things at all.
You know the above thought always come to mind everytime i see a “Durrrr Villains are so dumb cause they monologue” joke. Its just cause you rarely see heros getting there ass kicked after/between the monologue. We should see THAT more often.
I believe there’s actually a talent in some DnD system where you can make a speech skill check to monologue, forcing all enemies within earshot to stand and listen, and allowing your party to do things like prepare spells or get in backstab positions.

There are so many possibilities for distracting monologues, that it’s hard to decide which one to joke about.
From the “Lecture on Friendship and Love!” to the “Moral Speech on how the Villains are Wrong” to the “Ode to the Female Form”, they’re all fair game. Although female bards would go for the “Ode to the Male Form”. Mostly.
In that case…could you imagine the kind of monologuing power that Mojojojo must have? If he uses the D&D rules, he could take over entire multiverses!

I do love the details and the sound effects. Also the fact that Eastwood looks so sad/confused that in panel 2 his expression is basically falling off his face.

That purple snake-lizard-deer thing, it probably caused the portal.
Chances are that more of the smaller enemies are going to arrive through the portal.
On a different note, which of the Four Evils is this one a demon of? Looks like a demon of Thirsty’s…. The whole elegant purple thing…
Oh, and it seems to be both female and male… That is probably a factor too.

I think I need more practice in animation
hey, I’ve been wondering, has the thought of a rookie warband crossed your mind? I mean you’ve got the team who never gets along and usually only gets through their missions with pure luck (the A-team), a team that gets along great, has actual skill and whatnot (the B-team), but what some kind of team of rookies or apprentices? the rule of three just seems to stick in my brain a lot, so sorry if this question grates on the nerves
Props for squeezing in both the ‘FALCON PAWNCH!!’ and a reference to the Jabberwocky, and the only bit anybody our age remembering is about the Vorpal Blade.
