Silv and I busted arse to get this up, we have to go sleep, con tomorrow! Hello new people! Argh!
That kick was out of this world.
What was it Duke Nukem said? “It’s Goood!”
Okay, this might just be me, because who the heck watched the show, but am I getting some serious Naga from Monster Rancher vibes from the demon guy?
Other than that, great comic. Love the little detail of Virus pulling his coat over his head.
It’s been so long, I can barely remember Monster Rancher.
I actually don’t remember Naga at all. :(
The pictures could be better, but I guess it still works as a memory refresher. ;)
I freaking loved Monster Rancher in my early teens, though I was never able to watch the whole series.
love the choice of sound effects for the beheading,
Well, those do look like jaws that bite and claws that catch.
Not so sure of the Vorpalness of Rogue’s beamsword, but whatever.
Now they just have to go gallumphing back.
1T’S NOT SHOWN, BUT TH4T’S TH3 SOUND 4 CYB3RN3T1C 4RM C4NNON M4K3S WH3N S3T FOR 4RT1LL4RY.
CURSE YOU, NINJA! I was about to make the Jabberwocky ref!!!
Lothar: So hard that when he punches a daemon out, he uses his flesh hand rather than his metal one.
Anyone who says “Come on, if you think you’re hard enough!” to Lothar is either pretty damn tough, or asking for it.
I wonder how long it will take someone to edit that panel to have the “FALCON PUNCH!” sound effect.
D’oh! It’s already got the “Pawnch!” effect!
In the immortal words of The Joker: “Oops! Dopey me!”
What? Batman: The Animated Series was a great show, worthy of quoting!
Clever joke in the last panel! XD
There’s Daemons on the pitch, they think it’s all over! It is now!
Don’t want to be a troll, but in 7th panel Rouge’s tail some… transparent (or something)
Eh, I think that you didn’t erase a few lines of East’s tail and coat and that make me think that thing.
What about that panel jumping sword in panel 1/2 :P
Someone claim that sword it cuts the fabric of space and time!
Sometimes you can ignore the laws of physics.
… or graphic editors XD
In our defense, we were pushing to get it up on time at all. A couple things slipped our watchful gaze at the final pass, we’ll fix those up come monday.
Come on, all right. I’m just joking. Because I know that it’s a stressful job. I wish you success on Expro :)
It’s alright. Just poking a bit of fun. Good luck with the Expo.
Is cool , is cool. Came across a little more curt than really intended, hard to be sufficiently eloquent on a small mobile device in a hotel, is all. :) We were just kicking ourselves mentally when we realised we missed a couple things that friday morning and knew we couldnt get back to them all weekend.
dude, rouge is not in this comic, that’s rogue
oh, sorry, just a mistake ^^”
don’t sweat it, I kinda feel like a dick for saying it, it was funny on your other typo, but this one, I probably just sounded like a douche
Well, let’s assume that it was for fun :)
Nice! I love it when villains monologue! It makes them an easier target.
I also like the reality bending touch of the sword extending from panel 1 to panel 2. Daemon’s aren’t limited by mere comic panels! They’re just limited by beheading and punches. And possibly their own hubris.
C4TCH TH3M BY TH13R OV3RS1Z3D MONOLOGU3. 4ND TH3R3 W1LL 4LW4YS B3 ON3.

Yeah right.Cause Heros would never monologue.Saying how they will bring down justice on the villain or saying how there love and friendship will always win or how righteous they are or powerful because of they gods of justice and heaven….No sir heros would never do such things at all.
You know the above thought always come to mind everytime i see a “Durrrr Villains are so dumb cause they monologue” joke. Its just cause you rarely see heros getting there ass kicked after/between the monologue. We should see THAT more often.
I believe there’s actually a talent in some DnD system where you can make a speech skill check to monologue, forcing all enemies within earshot to stand and listen, and allowing your party to do things like prepare spells or get in backstab positions.
There are so many possibilities for distracting monologues, that it’s hard to decide which one to joke about.
From the “Lecture on Friendship and Love!” to the “Moral Speech on how the Villains are Wrong” to the “Ode to the Female Form”, they’re all fair game. Although female bards would go for the “Ode to the Male Form”. Mostly.
In that case…could you imagine the kind of monologuing power that Mojojojo must have? If he uses the D&D rules, he could take over entire multiverses!
by the light of sigmar don’t give Craig McKraken any ideas
Virus – making an ass out of himself and himself alone since the comic started. Ha.
I do love the details and the sound effects. Also the fact that Eastwood looks so sad/confused that in panel 2 his expression is basically falling off his face.
Hold a moment.
That purple snake-lizard-deer thing, it probably caused the portal.
Chances are that more of the smaller enemies are going to arrive through the portal.
On a different note, which of the Four Evils is this one a demon of? Looks like a demon of Thirsty’s…. The whole elegant purple thing…
Oh, and it seems to be both female and male… That is probably a factor too.
Did it just for the lulz.
Huh. Three. Days. Just… for the lulz… d’oh!
sort of bug.
original is below =_=
Ha! That’s great.
I think I need more practice in animation
hey, I’ve been wondering, has the thought of a rookie warband crossed your mind? I mean you’ve got the team who never gets along and usually only gets through their missions with pure luck (the A-team), a team that gets along great, has actual skill and whatnot (the B-team), but what some kind of team of rookies or apprentices? the rule of three just seems to stick in my brain a lot, so sorry if this question grates on the nerves
Props for squeezing in both the ‘FALCON PAWNCH!!’ and a reference to the Jabberwocky, and the only bit anybody our age remembering is about the Vorpal Blade.
A state education put to great use there! Brings a tear to my eye!
Hah. “Snicker-snak…” Love the Lewis Carroll reference.
Oh Virus. You are so adorable when your like that. Once the artist proves to be a master of expression. I am curious as to why Virus put his coat over his head though.
