I think Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs is a reference to Calvin and Hobbes.

Really? At least it is more creative then the Swedish name, which is, well, Hobbe. They just took out the ‘S’ in Hobbes name.

This comic made me chuckle, but it was the news post (“Silly Rabbit!”) that made me laugh out loud. I suppose the combination is really what makes this comic great. Wait…An entire town missing and the only thing out of place is the soda? I smell mischief afoot!

Screw the Nesquik bunny, he’s a milkshake mascot trying to horn in on cereal. The wolf, pff, whatever, Cookie Crisp has only been in the UK since the 2000s. The frog and bear are unknown to us. The Trix rabbit I considered, but he’s a plain white rabbit, of which this comic has had several already.
The monkey is Coco Monkey, of Coco Pops. Which you may know as Cocoa Krispies. But British Coco Pops ads were basically awesome.
Yeah, I don’t really care about the wolf since he was originally a pudgy bulldog until about 2000. I guess he must have been ethnically or racially offensive if they needed to redesign him that radically.
Still, the Trix rabbit sells everything, cereal, yogurt, milk. Nobody works harder than that rascally rabbit. And, while I admittedly don’t know the name of the bear, I do know he kicks booty like Chuck Norris and Carl Douglas combined.
As for the frog… I haven’t seen him do anything remarkable you could still use him for cannon fodder.
