Priorities. We’ve got ours, Lothar’s got his. Missions accomplished. He probably aimed through a kid, that would cause the least deflection of the shot.
Lothar only aims for #1 obviously.
And somehow, with that one shot, Lothar managed to kill ALL the bystanders *and* the target.

Errant? Nah, that was a perfectly straight shot. It just killed every single bystander at the same time.
Because only Lothar could make a straight shot with a rifle and kill thirty people with it.
He shot by chance. The shot hit a balloon which woke the baby making the mother lose the cart which ran into the cop setting off his gun shotting a nun. That then in which caused them to panic and run over the mother cause the childern to run infront of the cop car to get hit. Which then knock the cop car over to the nun parade which resulted into a flaming wreck killing everyone… while the target get away.
Did I miss anything?
Well, loth is CRADLING a “Halo” long rifle in 14mmX? He could kill a building with that rifle!

Also LOL at the cop-close-to-retirement thing. That is so true haha. They always do that in films.

They all obviously tempted fate, especially that policeman.
I wonder if, in the EN universe, there now exist Kennedy-like theories of how a lone gunman made a shot that killed the target, a cop, several kids (while hitting all the baloons they were carrying), a mother, her baby, and a whole parade of nuns with one bullet.
It’s the law of inverse irony, in a region filled entirely with tragic targets, your shot will fly straight and true.

Somehow, it feels distinctly Lothar to just go ‘screw the civvies, I need to go!’ The REAL question, is would he have waited if he didn’t need to use the restroom?
Only long enough that the shot lined up in a way that the kids got splattered with brains.
With their luck, the target worships one of the gods that prefers blood sacrifices and the attempted execution resulted in a small daemon incursion.
I imagine a punchline of Rogue commenting to Virus, ‘Well, at least *one* of the shots hit the target…’, obscuring the violent ranting of a mop-toting Eastwood to a non-caring Lothar–who only responds with ‘Well, at least I rememebered to put the seat up *this* time!’

I was going to ask whether Lothar hit his target, but from the looks of things I think they’re leaving it for us to decide. So here’s my take.
“Damn, I was 3 days from retirement… and someone shot my partner!”
That would be an awesome subversion of the cop who gets shot while nearing retirement.

Hey, is Inquisitor Blackwing in any way inspired by Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn? I don’t know why, but they just seem… Similar to me.
Holy shit, how did you even make that connection? Is that just from the portrayal in the comic, or did you read additional info in one of our old resources? The answer is yes. I created Xandius Blackwing shortly after reading the Eisenhorn trilogy. He used to have minor psyker powers too, but I dropped that because it was too Eisenhorny. And with his myriad skills he was getting a bit Mary-Sue (which is exactly what he and Damien ended up parodying, of course). I hadn’t realised there was anything left that would cause anyone to make the leap. He, like Gregor, is just a dour, frowny, srs bsns inquisitor.

So now, Lothar has 3 hats. His regular hat, his urban camo hat, and his Firefly-Viewing Hat. The question is, does he have hats for other occasions? Jungle Camo? Digital Camo? Desert? It’s these kinds of questions that keep me up at night, man.
You don’t want to see his “Ate a bad burrito, gang way!” hat.
I’m willing to bet Laura Holt has fewer hats. And if you didn’t catche the reference, its related to Remington Steele.
It would be extremely funny if, for once, Lothar actually got the target without any casualties. A nice change of pace, the other characters congratulating Lothar on doing something decent and good for once…
Only for him to offhandedly mention he missed.
Oh gosh Lothar. Please tell me you didn’t take colateral damage. It wouldn’t surprise me but I can still hope for the positive. Conversely, loved Virus paniced expression.
