Convention news: EN is going to have its first booth at Edmonton Expo, October 20/21. If by any stroke of luck you’re going to be in or around Edmonton, Alberta, come and say hi! We will have shirts and buttons. We’ll update you with the booth number when we find it out.
And by “we” I mean “me”. Don’t expect to meet everybody, the other three guys live in England.

Who knew Zombies cared that much about their well-being and if they catch a cold or not. I’m pretty sure that zombie in particular is one rich mofo right now.
Well, we’ve not really seen many zombies in Exterminatus Now, barring the ones in that tomb that got horribly mutilated.
So maybe this zombie has a little more of his brains working than usual.
Or maybe it’s just funnier that he’d stop and wring his clothes out even though his killers are right there. It could go either way.
There were the ’28 Days Later’ variety in the B-team strips…
I’m more suprised there is any bodies left, I just assumed Blasphemy ate them all. Guess even Demonic Chaos have stomach limits.
Blasphemy’s a connoisseur, eating only the most delicious part of the hired goon. You’d be surprised just how tasty throats are.

also east sure is a good sport allowing either himself or virus to shoot the spy,seeing how lothar has to studdy and rouge doesnt have any guns.

Well, unless East happens to have his gun (Which feels all too likly, Unless I’ve misread East’s personality.) I think we should hope Lothar can speed read.
Also…I recall this comic as being in a world/setting called ‘Grim Darkness’ or something? Is that on the forums or should I just ask about it?
‘Grim’ should be thought of as a basically the obsolete series bible for EN now. It was just a bunch of notes about the world, and anything of interest has shown up in EN already, or will show up in the future. Occasionally we will dip into the notes and repurpose a placename, or reimagine an old character concept, but that’s about it.
So does that mean we should refer to it as “The Book of Grim”?

I’m guessing if you want spy to live, you got plans for him later. maybe even ‘bringing back’ more of his team, or maybe even binging back the old ones. not sure if you’d go the cult path or techno based revival via respawn…heh, would be funny if they got ‘special dispensation’ to use it by the inquisition and….okaay, thinking too much into this.
Or it’s just a one-off Team Fortress 2 joke, since the other two bodies in the first panel look vaguely like a Medic and Heavy, and the guy on fire in the 4th panel could be a Sniper. Plus, they’ve already had a cameo in the mercenary bar.
They had a more recent cameo than that – these are the bodies left in the hangar from near the beginning of ‘Bookend’. This is all just a silly post-script to Bookend.

They should have had the pyro and sniper do a spy-check. Amazing, how hitting somebody with a jar of pee undoes invisibility
… why ARE they wearing high-vis jackets? It doesn’t seem like it would improve safety and health while moving bodies around… Maybe a surgical mask and/or gloves, but why a coat?
Oh, snap! The one the chicken attacked is still alive! Of course, East could be right he could be a zombie but I doubt it.
