Whoops, slipped a little there. But still, four comics in a single month! That hasn’t happened since 2013; maybe I’ll keep doing EN after all (haha, no, I quit).

Oh, please tell me that Eastwood has thought of something (like the referenced several times holy bell) isn’t just shitting himself while running in full mindless terror…oh, who am I kidding. Run you crazy bastards!
It’s much worse than that. When one can not flee one fights. When one as access to tons of weapons…. Remember he had a giant robot step on a spider and then “Ensure” that it stayed dead. Now we have a giant spider deamon prince(ss) and his last spider deamon killing was by using an even LARGER daemon to kill it.
You shouldn’t worry about Eastwood running away. You should be running away before Eastwood is finished doing what ever he is doing.
I guess she was too busy slaughtering heretics to pick up on the team’s reputation back at HQ.
Seriously, first letting Zuviel hold the culexic inhibitor and now being surprised at their lack of discipline? This is why you save some XP for social skills.
But I suppose if she bothered with investigation beyond identifying targets, then she wouldn’t be Nadia Deket.
Maybe East left to go get the culexic inhibitor? Is the brain still usable after it breaks?
Nice bit of psychology here on Nadia’s part to get Rogue’s pride working for her ;)
One of the great strength of the comic that I already praised several times in the past is the expressions and panels 3 and 4 are a perfect example :)
I am pretty sure “stress-induced heart failure” will be written on Nadia’s post mortem report one day.
“Nice bit of psychology here on Nadia’s part”
Psychology? What’s that?
Nadia is all forward momentum, no time for subtlety. For all we know, she truly believes that Wildfire is better than Rogue – or is quick to surmise that Rogue’s skills are on par with the rest of the Virus/Eastwood team. After all, the incompetent !diots hired Rogue and SHE hired Wildfire.
To be fair, Wildfire has shown a high level of competence at annihilating stuff. Daemons small and big, trucks, warehouses, the occasional town-sized secret compound…
Well, that’s the way I read Nadia’s character. I could be wrong :-)
It’s half and half. Wildfire is actually pretty good. The problem is that her level of destruction tends to go with the level of danger she can cause. Kind of like hugging a bomb and running up to an enemy to toss it at them. The kind of bomb where if you trip, get nicked, or even sneeze you blow up along with everyone around you.
To send against a daemon? It’s not that bad of a plan. To send for covert or protect or team survival? Run… run away and hope the you survive the fallout.
Eastwood team has survivability down to the letter.
Kudos to Zuviel for actually caring about Eastwood’s safety.
…
My guess is, Harry still owes him money.
Nothing against Rogue, but If I was there (in his place) I’d leave with Virus. The F-unit commander looks like a psychotic hot head, and common sense dictates the best place to be in a gunfight is as far away from Wildfire as possible. Not that they presently have any super effective weapons at the moment, of course, but it’s just the principle of the thing…
I feel like Zuviel is running the wrong way. I mean, towards Vitani is a great way to go, but when we last saw Harry’s tail, it was pretty close to Wilfire’s hair, and why would he run any direction but away at this point?
Nadia may be having a bad day, but it’s finally turning into a fun outing for Lothar!
http://exterminatusnow.co.uk/2013-03-31/comic/non-storyline/randoms/the-porcelain-firing-range/ Deja vu =)
Well, the odessa steps have been referenced in many a cinematic universe including My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic… So, yes. Deja Vu for anyone who knows their visual media tropes. Not so much anyone who knows Eastwood or Virus.
Ah, Nadia’s getting a full on introduction to the A-Team’s competent incompetence and baffling combination of stupidity and survivability that makes them perfect for the Inquisition.
Anyone still running bets on the timing of Nadia’s aneurism?
Nadia is like a ticking time bomb at this point. Won’t be long until she flat out kills them before the daemonic princess does. ._.;
It’s nice to see that Nadia can exhibit emotion other than rage. Like condescension.
Well I guess I’m bad-mouthing. She has a whole specter of emotions. Rage, blind rage, mouth-frothing rage, rage against idiots, rage against individuals, rage against groups, low-level all-purpose rage, bloody rage, hurting rage, killing rage, and holy fury.
No Rage Against The Machine?
@Groggarioth.
Only if The Machine has been possessed by Fernex, then. It looks like she takes care of the important devices she uses, compared to the Use A Doom Artifact As Bookend And Drop The Psy-Nullifier Team.
you got this rouge! well kitty cat jedi is dead
Any bets on that ‘ancient relic bell’ being destroyed by the cat?
Has it occurred to anyone else that Nadia is a follower of the same god whose church was just defiled?
The kind of people that the Demon Princess said she knew exactly to break?
how to break*
Fuck this keyboard
Huh. Good point.
I love this comic series.
Wait…the bottom of that post from virus said “I quit” Erm…seriously??
Newspost here. Guess I should have reposted that announcement a couple of times, thanks for the reminder.
I love your comic series. Good reading material, thank you.
I’m waiting for when Vitani toasts Lothar’s hat. That worked out so well for the bad guys the last time. :)
I just fucking love how SHE’S calling them undisciplined when three out of the four people on her team resolve to blow everything to hell and back before letting their one interrogator interrogate anyone
